These photos were taken in 1876, before the restoration of 1878/80 and the fire of 1908. The pictures were restored by Ean Geldart, and are published by permission.

In the 15th Century great additions were made to the church. The western tower was built, also the south porch, the chancel was extended, and a vestry with a priest's chamber added. In the 18th century galleries were erected at the west end and in the aisle which were removed at the restoration in 1878/80.
