The Friends are a group of parents/carers and friends of the school. Regular fund-raising events are held, including Bingo evenings, Talent Nights, Discos, etc. The aim is not only to raise money but also to enable the children to experience and take part in events that many would not normally get the chance to do. The Friends fund, or part fund, equipment and many school trips and visitors to the school. They are also responsible for school uniforms. On the last Monday of each term a school shop opens in the school hall where parents can purchase uniforms etc. Each Friday at 3.30pm there is "Ice Cream Friday" which allows the children to purchase an ice cream for their walk home from school.

Summer Events for 2008

May: Fill a Smartie tube. Each child has been given a tube of smarties - which they can eat and then fill the tube with change.

June: Family sports and BBQ (weather permitting). This is scheduled for Friday 20 June

July: School Shop 22 July 3.30pm in the school hall.
