Twiddling Thumbs Folk Dance Band

The Twiddling Thumbs Folk Dance Band unleashed their unique brand of toe-tapping music to an enthusiastic audience at Kirkby Malzeard's FolkFest in November 1999. Three months later, they made their official début with a sell-out Valentine's ceilidh at the village's Mechanics' Institute. Establishing themselves as one of the area's most sought-after bands, they were booked to support legendary Seventies folk rockers Lindisfarne at Ripon Cathedral in July 2000.
