Welcome to our
community website, which is designed to bring internet support
to village life.
Kirkby Malzeard is a village in
the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (NAONB).
It has a population of about 800 people, with a further 200 or
so living in the nearby farming areas of Laverton and Dallowgill.
Although Kirkby is small it certainly isn't sleepy. We are
well served by three shops, two pubs, two surgeries, garage,
tea-room, school, pre-school and much
more.
Many of the activities and events are organised and enjoyed by
local people and from May through until November we are joined
by many holiday makers.
